Very good, high-quality tempura restaurant. Amazing food and amazing service for an amazing night. Really recommended! We had the tempura course which included an entry dish with broth, then a plate with various bites and sashimi before all the several fish and vegetable tempura were served one after the other. All was top-notch: super fresh and cooked right in front of us. We had shrimp, anago (including its bone), eggplant, shiitake and much more. Each time, the chef recommended how to best appreciate the tempura: with salt, soy sauce or nothing. The course ended with a choice between tendon vs tencha, tea and then ice cream. What a superb dinner. The restaurant is located in a somewhat less touristy area/ street but still very close to Nezu station and not to far away from Ueno park, so it's very easily reached with public transportation. The restaurant itself has 6 seatings making it for a cozy experience. Our waitress had above-average English and other visitors were a mix between locals and tourists.

Good choice for a quiet counter meal, kurumaebi is freshly-cooked from the fish tank on display - and lunch course is reasonable at 5,000¥ for a decent selection of tempura dishes with rice and miso.
